Also operating on satellite (VO52 Hamsat), using 2 seperate multimode transceivers and 2/70 combi-antennas. In the weekends often QRV in my 'Garden Shack' and 'Forrest Shack'. I am a HAM radio amateur for over 30 years now. The actual day I was legally permitted, at the age of 16 years, on my birthday, I took part in the HAM exams. Before that I was a very active DX-er on 27 Mc band, as member of Dutch speaking 'Whisky Oscar' club (Wereldomroepers) and the international DX club 'Alfa Tango'. My grand-dad was radioamateur/telegrafist in early 1920's, so must have gotten the radio-virus from him. After my Commercial Economics study I started working in the Television and Radio business. My hobby became partly my profession, although my work is more in sales and marketing dept's. I have been Sales & Marketing Director for 4 years at one of the main leading national broadcasting station called Radio10FM. My QTH, Bussum, is a small and quiet town in a green area, located 25 KM south east of Amsterdam.
